HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 80-93RESOLUTION NO. 80-93 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING PREPARATION OF AMENDED ASSESSMENT TO SEGREGATE ~ APPORTION UNPAID INST/~LLMENTS OF EXISTING ASSESSMENT AMD SETTING TIME ~ PLACE OF HEARING THEREON CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 82-1 ASSESSMENT AND DIAGRAM AMENDMENT NOS. 40 THROUGH 48 RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL (the "Council") OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD (the "city"), as follows: WHEREAS, on April 20, 1983, the Council adopted Resolution No. 64-83, confirming and ordering the recordation of assessments for city of Bakersfield Assessment District No. 82-1 (the "District"); and WHEREAS, certain assessments affected by division or transfer of parcels of land within the District. of the District have been ownership of the original NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The street superintendent of the City shall file with the City Clerk a report and an amended assessment of the following lots or parcels of land affected by division or transfer of ownership in said Assessment District No. 82-1 segregating and apportioning the unpaid installments of the original assessment in accordance with the benefits to the'several parts of the original lots or parcels plus costs and fees of making the apportionment, which are hereby fixed at no charge for this proceeding: Existing Assessment No. Amendment No. 2149, 2150, 2151, 2153 and 2154 40 3881 41 3233 42 2256, 2257 43 4000 44 4571 45 4256 46 4120 47 3737 48 in 2. Wednesday, July 7, the regular meeting place of 1993, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., the Council, being the Council ORIGINAL Chambers, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, be and the same are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where this Council will hear and consider protests to the amended assessment and segregation and apportionment of the unpaid installments of the original assessment. At the time of said hearing, all persons interested in the original assessment or in the land affected thereby or in the bonds secured thereby may appear and protest the amended assessment or the segregation and apportionment of the unpaid installments. 3. Upon the filing of the report and amended assessment, the Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing on the report and amended assessment by publication twice, on separate days, in the Bakersfield Californian, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City. The first publication of such notice shall occur not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing.
