RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER OF WORK
~ND ~UTHORISING ~GREEMENT FOR
~SSESS~ENT ENGINEERING SERVICES
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.
(N.E. SEWER PROJECT)
93-1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD as follows:
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake
proceedings pursuant to Special Assessment and Assessment Bond Acts
for the construction, acquisition and financing of a public
improvement project in said City; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be
served by appointing and employing an Engineer of Work for the
preparation and conducting of said proceedings and work in
connection with said improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the director of Public Works of the City of
Bakersfield be, and the same hereby is, appointed as the Engineer
of Work, and employed to do and perform all engineering work
necessary in and for said proceedings for city of Bakersfield
Assessment District No. 93-1.
2. The Engineer of Work is further authorized to
receive, review, approve and utilize assessment engineering
services being provided for Assessment District No. 93-1 by QUAD
ENGINEERING, INC.
3. The agreement presented herewith retaining QUAD
ENGINEERING, INC. as the assessment engineer is approved and the
same is hereby authorized to be executed by the city official(s)
designated thereon.
4. That all engineering fees and all other charges of
the Engineer of Work, including but not limited to assessment
engineering services, be assessed as incidental expenses of said
proceedings.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 28th day of April, 1993, by the
following vote:
