RESOLUTION AMENDING THE OFFICIAL LIST OF
DESIGNATED SPEED ZONES, PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
22357 AND 22358 OF THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE
CODE.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant
to Sections 22357 and 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, desires
to enact prima facie speed limits on portions of a roadway within
the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limits are being
established for streets in the City of Bakersfield after traffic
engineering surveys were conducted; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
Under provision of Sections 22357 and 22358 of the
California Vehicle Code, the prima facie speed limit for the
following street, or portions thereof, is hereby determined and
declared to be as shown below, and shall be included in the
official City "List of Speed Zones":
College Avenue, from Existing City Limits to
Fairfax Road, to be forty (40) miles per hour.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
