A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE
BUILDING DIRECTOR REGARDING ASSESSMENTS OF
CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
FOR DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS.
WHEREAS, the properties in the City of Bakersfield
described by assessor parcel number and street address in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and incorporated by this reference herein,
were determined to be dangerous buildings under the Uniform Code
for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1988 Edition; and
WHEREAS, notices and orders of C. A. Bidwell, Building
Director of the City of Bakersfield, as provided in Chapter 4 of
the above-specified Code, were mailed to the record owners of the
aforementioned properties; and
WHEREAS, the properties in question were duly posted as
provided in Chapter 4 of said Code; and
WHEREAS, the demolition of the buildings was paid out of
the City of Bakersfield Building Department Land and Land
Improvement Fund; and
WHEREAS, this assessment proceeding was duly noticed and
a hearing held on October 2, 1991, in the Council Chambers of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield:
1. That the Report on Assessment for Demolition of
Dangerous Buildings of C. A. Bidwell, Building Director, attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", including the assessments therein set forth,
is hereby confirmed.
2. That the property owners named in said Exhibit "A"
may pay, or cause to be paid, the charges stated therein at the
office of the Finance Department, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield,
California, at any time before 5 o'clock p.m., November 6, 1991.
3. That in the event such charges assessed and
confirmed against the individual properties as listed in Exhibit
"A" are not paid within such time, such assessments shall be
recorded on the assessment roll, and said assessment shall
constitute a special assessment against and a lien upon the
property and pursuant to law, the County Tax Collector shall
include the tax bill applicable to the property.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular

The name of the owner or reputed owner and the description of
the property where said services were performed are as per

Five Thousand Eight Hundred Twelve Dollars and Twenty Cents
($5,812.20) pursuant and in accordance with City Council
Resolution No. 210-91, passed and adopted October 23, 1991.
