RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT FOR
DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 91-1
(HOSKING TRUNK SEWER)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD as follows:
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake
proceedings pursuant to Special Assessment and Assessment Bond Acts
for the construction, acquisition and financing of a public
improvement project within that certain area known as Assessment
District No. 91-1; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of
Bakersfield has been appointed the Engineer of Work for Assessment
District No. 91-1; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be
served by allowing the Engineer of Work to consult and employ a
Design Engineer to assist in the preparation of plans,
specifications and designs for the improvements to be constructed
in connection with Assessment District No. 91-1.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Engineer of Work is authorized to receive,
review, approve and utilize design engineering services being
provided for Assessment District No. 91-1 by:
DEWALT CORPORATION
2. The agreement presented herewith retaining said
design engineer is hereby approved and the same is hereby
authorized to be executed by the City official(s) designated
thereon.
3. All design engineering fees and all other charges of
said design engineer be assessed as incidental expenses of the
assessment proceedings.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of October ,
by the following vote:
