A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CITIES, AGENCIES AND
ORGANIZATIONS TO BE USED IN CONDUCTING COMPARISON
SURVEYS OF EMPLOYEES' COMPENSATION.
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to conduct a survey of the
compensation it offers its employees as compared to other cities
and agencies in its labor market, to determine our competitive
position; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the following cities are
comparable to the City of Bakersfield with adjustments to cost of
living and are inclusive of our labor market;
WHEREAS, the City wishes to adopt said cities and agencies
when all such surveys are conducted
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield that the following cities and agencies be designated as
Survey Cities for the purposes of comparing competitive position
for compensation:
