A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 112-90
SETTING SALARIES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE UNIT OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, Resolution no. 112-90 sets salaries and related
benefits for officers and employees of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make amendment thereof.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, that Resolution No. 112-90 is hereby amended with
the attached supplemental Memorandum of Understanding,
incorporating the salary schedule reflecting an adjustment from 4%
to 5% of the general wage increase scheduled to be effective April
8, 1991, and specifying that the City and Association shall meet
and confer regarding the City and employee contribution toward
medical insurance premium for the period beginning January 1, 1992.

SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM oF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
AND THE
ASSOCIATION OF BAKERSFIELD POLICE OFFICERS
This Supplemental Memorandum of Understanding modifies the
Memorandum of Understanding between the City and Association
covering the period of April 1, 1991, through March 31, 199~. ~
Except as modified herein, the Memorandum of Understanding between
the City and Association shall continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 1. GENERAL WAGE INCREASE
The general wage increase scheduled to be effective April 8, 1991,
shall be amended from 4% to 5%.
SECTION 2.
MEDICAL INSURANCE
The provision for payment of medical premiums shall be amended to
provide that the City and Association shall meet and confer on the
City's contribution toward medical insurance premiums for the
period beginning January 1, 1992.
This Supplemental Memorandum of Understanding shall be effective
upon ratification by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
and the Association of Bakersfield Police Officers.
