NEW CITY CLEANERS CLEAN UP PROCEDURE IN CASE OF A SPILL IS TO GET TOWELS AND
OLD DRAPERY LININGS AND MOP UP THE SOLVENT WITH THEM. THESE TOWELS AND
LININGS ARE THEN THOROUGHLY EXTRACTED IN OUR DRYCLEANING MACHINES TO SAVE
THE SOLVENT. THIS PROCESS IS REPEATED UNTIL THE SPILL AREA IS COMPLETELY

Our prevention procedures consist of good housekeeping and Preventive
mintenaince on our machines and equi~m~_nt. Our chemicals are kept in
an orderly manner with their lids always on. The machines are kept up
daily and our valves to our tanks are closed unless in operation. We
have a no smoking policy except in the lunch rocm which is across the
plant from our chemicals. In addition New City Cleaners has 12 inch
masonary walls around the cleaning room and tumbler room. These two
rooms also have doors 'that automatically close in case of fire~

New City Cleaners evacuation procedure consists of one person of the
five people in ~ivate response team verbally telling each employee
