Permittee must obtain a Fire Department permit prior to initiating abandonment action. 2. Ail procedures must be in accordance with requiPements of the standards and guidelines developed fbr the implementation of Kern County Ordinance Code. 3. Two sets of samples must be taken beneath the .tank at two feet and six feet depths at locations one-third of the way in from each tank end. 4. One set of samples must be taken underneath, each dispenser at the prescribed depths. 5. Ail samples must be analyzed, for benzene, toluene, xylene and total petroleum hydrocarbons.
