A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE TERMS
OF SERVICE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE
BAKERSFIELD AIRPARK ADVISORY

("Tenant" positions)

on June 17, 1993.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield
established the Bakersfield Airpark Advisory Committee on May 20,
1987; and
W~EREAS, the Bakersfield Airpark Advisory Committee
consists of seven (7) members, appointed by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council established the initial terms
of service of three (3) members of the Bakersfield Airpark
Advisory Committee at two (2) years and four (4) of the members at
four (4) years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to ensure continuity of
service on the committee and sequential expiration of the terms of
service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish all terms
of service of the Bakersfield Airpark Advisory Committee at four
(4) years; and
WHEREAS, the terms of service of four (4) of the members
expire on June 17, 1991, and the terms of
of the members ("At Large" positions) expire
NOW T~EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The terms of service of members of the Bakersfield
Airpark Advisory Committee shall be four (4) years.
Expiration of the terms of service of the current
"Tenant" positions shall occur on June 17, 1991,
and expiration of the terms of service of the
current "At Large" positions shall expire on June
17, 1993.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on JUN ~ 9 1991 , by the
following vote:
