AFTER BUS HRS: ~O~2E- - 4A-1 - A-C ELECTRIC COMPANY Emergency Evacuation Procedures For the safety of the A-C Electric Company office personnel, we have devised a written "Emergency Evacuation'Procedure" which shall be used in the event of an actual emergency. The "Emergency Evacuation Procedures" shall consist of a two part program, to include Personnel Evacuation and Emergency Response Personnel. I. Personnel .Evacuation a. Escape Routing Office personnel shall exit the building in an orderly fashion by closing their office door as they exit. Those employees on the ground level floor should exit through the main door of the Bakersfield Division office. Those employees on the second floor level should exit down the main stairwell and take the same route as above or may chose to use the fire escape ladder at the rear of the second floor office and exit into the Bakersfield Warehouse and then out through the front gate. Those employees on the sublevel floor should exit through the San Dimas Street door or through the Bakersfield Warehouse door. b. Assembly and Headcount Two areas have been chosen as assembly areas. The primary assembly area is north of the building, across the street in the parking lot of the doctor's office building with the street address of 622 34th street. The second assembly area is east of the building across San Dimas Street in the parking lot of that Doctor's office building. A headcount should be taken in both assembly areas to ensure that all personnel have exited the building and are accounted for. The senior person in each area will be responsible for the headcount. II. Emergency Response Personnel a. Those persons holding the position of General Manager, Division Manager or Equipment and Safety Administrator shall report to the emergency responding agency. They shall offer information such as location for natural gas shut offs, electrical panels, water main shut offs, and the locations of hazardous materials such as under- ground storage tanks for gasoline, drums of motor oil, drums of solvent and emulsion or other cleaning fluids, and the location of acetylene and oxygen bottles. They should also inform them of the employee headcount. In the event that these three persons are not available, the Senior person will take on the responsibility of reporting this information. A master copy will be kept in the Equipment and Safety Department office. Jim Melton, Headquarters, Equipment and Safety Administrator will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining the data sheet system for the company.
