A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY AND FINDING THAT
SUCH SALE IS IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF
THE CITY (FIRE STATION, 790 EAST
BRUNDAGE LANE).
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3.20.125 B. of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Council may authorize a nego-
tiated sale of real property when it finds that such sale is in
the best interests .of the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65402, the
Planning Commission of the City of Bakersfield determined that
said proposed sale is consistent with the Bakersfield Metropolitan
Area General Plan; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed sale
of City canal property located at 790 East Brundage Lane; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was duly noticed and held on
WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 1991, in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
That the sale of the City property located at
790 East Brundage Lane, more particularly described
on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated as
though fully set forth, is in the best interests
of the City;
That the benefits to be derived by the City justify
the sale price of $45,000.00; and
That the Mayor is authorized to execute the

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
