A RESOLUTION SPECIFYING THAT, UNLESS
EXCLUDED BY COUNCIL, ALL PORTIONS OF THE
PROPOSED WIBLE NO. 7 ANNEXATION SHALL
UPON ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE GREATER BAKERSFIELD
SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT, AND SETTING
HEARING FOR OBJECTIONS THERETO (WARD 6).
WHEREAS, proceedings have been commenced for the annexa-
tion of certain unincorporated territory, designated as WIBLE
NO. 7 to the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, said territory lies outside the Greater Bakers-
field Separation of Grade District; and
WHEREAS, Section 8290 of the Streets and Highway Code of
the State of California provides that the unincorporated territory
of a county which was not included within a separation of grade
district at the time of formation of such district, and which sub-
sequent to formation of such district is annexed to or otherwise
included within a city which is a part of such district, shall
immediately upon such annexation to such city be included within
the district and shall thereafter become a part of the district to
the same extent as such city; except such portion or portions
thereof which the City Council has determined will not be benefited
by inclusion in the district.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That a description of the unincorporated territory
described in the annexation proceedings, is attached hereto and
marked Exhibit "A", and shown on the map attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "B".
2. That unless any portion shall be excluded by the City
Council, all portions of said unincorporated territory shall, upon
annexation to the City of Bakersfield, be included within the
Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District.
3. That WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5, 1991, at the hour of 7 P.M.
(or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard) in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield,
California, is the time when and the place where objections to
inclusion within the district will be heard.
4. That the Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified
copy of this resolution to James R. Parker, Jr., c/o Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, P.O. Box 2205, Bakers-
field, CA 93303.

WIBLE NO. 7 ANNEXATION NO. 339 BOUNDARY
A portion of the Northwest ~ of Section 25, and the Northeast 1~ of Section 26,
Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.M., County of Kern , State of California,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the North line of said Section 25 which bears South
89°19'12" East, 517.00 feet from the Northwest corner thereof, and said point
also being the Northeast corner of Parcel 2 as shown on Parcel Map No. 7470
flied in Book 32 of Parcel Maps at Page 67 in the office of the Kern County
Recorder;
THENCE South 00°36'02" West, along the East line of said Parcel 2, a distance of
30.00 feet to a point on the existing corporate boundary of the City of
Bakersfield and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE (I) Continuing South 00°36'02" West, 629.33 feet to the Northeast corner
of Parcel 1 as shown on Parcel Map No. 4200 filed in Book 19 of Parcel Maps at
Page 13 in the Office of the Kern County Recorder;
TI~NCE (2) South 03Q05'18" West, 444.58 feet to a point on the East line of
Parcel 3 of said Parcel Map No. 4200;
TMENCE (3) South 08° 42' 50' West, along said East line, a distance of 217.33
feet to a point on the North line of the right of way for the Arvin-Edison
Intake Canal (135 feet wide);
THENCE (4) South 07o15'53" West, 135.89 feet to a point on the South llne of
said canal right of way also being the Northeast corner of Parcel 3 as shown on
parcel Map No. 4385 filed in Book 19 of Parcel Maps at Page 105 in the Office of
the Kern County Recorder;
THENCE (5) South 13°31'44" West, along the East line of said Parcel 3, a dis-
tance of 264.80 feet to the Southeast corner thereof;
THENCE (6) North 89°17'18" West, along the South line of sald Parcel 3 and west-
erly prolongation thereof, a distance of 422.02 feet to a point on the West
right of way line of Wlble Road (Co. Rd. No. 50).
THENCE (7) North 00o36'02" East, along said west line, a dlstance of 393.20 feet
to a point on the North line of said Arvin-Edison Intake Canal right of way also
being a point on the existing corporate boundary of the C~ty of Bakersfield;
THENCE (8) East, North and East along various courses of said corporate
boundary to the point of beginning.
