AGENCY NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES: Hazardous material spills, fires, or other emergencies, as a matter of policy, are immediatelyreported by telephone to either Mr. Frank Brinsfield or Mr. Joe Stringer at IRI International Corporation's headquarters in Pampa, Texas. Considering the type of hazardous material in use at this site (oxygen and acetylene gas), spills will not be a problem but fires will. Therefore, any uncontrolled discharge of gas which may lead to a fire will be reported to the Bakersfield Fire Department. B. EMPLOYEE NOTIFICATION AND EVACUATION: With all three employees working in close proximity to each other, notifi- cation of an emergency will be immediate so that actions required in Section A above can be quickly performed. Evacuation would take place only if access to the office is denied and/or the situation is obviously out of control. C. PUBLIC EVACUATION: Public.evacuation does not apply to this site because of the type and quantity of hazardous material on site. D. EMERGENCY MEDICAL PLAN: Hedlcal emergencies, including burns caused by exposure to oxygen-acetylene fires, will be treated at Mercy Hospital, 2215 Truxtun, or at other medi- cal facilities if more convenient.
