E. EMERGENCY AND FIRST-AID PROCEDURES
iF IN EYES: Immediately flush eyes with gently running.stream of water for at least
15~minutes. Forcibly hold eyelids apart to ensure flushing of all eye and eyelid
tissue (Washing eyes within 1 minute is essential to achieve maximum
effectiveness.) GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.
IF ON SKIN: .Immediately flush contaminated areas With plenty of water for at.least
15.minutes. .Remove contaminated clothing promptly. If large areas of the body are
contaminated, or if clothing is penetrated immediately use safety shower. While
washing skin, remove contaminated clothing and footwear. After washing skin, cover
affected areas with moist milk of magnesia or baking soda. GET IMMEDIATE'MEDICAL
ATTENTION. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse and discard footwear which
cannot be decontaminated.
IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air. CALL EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE. If breathing
has stopped, use artificial respiration, preferable mouth-to mouth. If breathing is
difficult, give oxygen. Keep person quiet and maintain normal body temperture.
Effects may be delayed, keep person under observation.
IF SWALLOWED: Do NOT induce vomiting. Give large amounts of water or milk, then
follow with some milk of magnesia, beaten eggs or vegetable oil. If spontaneous
vomiting occurs, keep airways clear. Immediately get medical attention. NEVER GIVE
ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON.

G. FIRE AND EXPLOSION PROTECTION INFORMATION
Flash Point: None.
~Flammable Limits in Air, % by Vol.: Not applicable.
Autotgnttion Temperature: Not applicable.
ExtinKutshtng Media: Product is non-flammable.' Select extinguisher suitable for
surrounding fire. Do NOT get solid streams of water on containers. Move containers
from area if you can do so without risk.
Special FireftKhttng Procedures: This product is non-flammable. However, high
temperature of surrounding fire may generate corrosive sulfur oxide gases. Use
NIOSH/MSHA-approved self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.
Cool containers that are exposed to flames with streams of,water until fire is out.
CAUTION: Water applied directly to this material results in evolution of heat and
causes splattering.
'Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Product may react violently with water creating
heat and steam and dangerous splattering. Contact with some metals will release
hydrogen gas, creating additional potential fire and explosion hazard. When heated,
product will emit highly toxic fumes.
H. REACTIVITY DATA
