RE: Removal of one 550 Gallon waste oil tank and assessment of
soil beneath the waste oil tank, and four 6,000 gallon
underground fuel tanks which ]lad been removed from the old
Texaco Station located at 2333 Brundage Lane in Bakersfield,
CA.
Dear Sir/Madam:
This is to advise you that this Department has reviewed the
project results for the preliminary assessment associated with the
removal of one 550 gallon underground waste oil tank, and four
6,000 gallon underground fuel tanks, located at 2333 Brundage Lane
in Bakersfield, CA.
Based upon the findings described in the report, this
Department is satisfied that the assessment is complete and no
significant soil contamination resulting from fuel tank leakage was
detected at the site.

Tank Removal at Brundage and Hughes (Texaco)
Enclosed you will find the results of the soil samples
taken at the above referenced site. Upon reviewimg
you will notice all tests were clear with the exception
of a trace of oil and grease under the waste oil tank,
which'was 58 PPM and 42PPM respectively.
· The results indicate, that at this time, there is no
threat to the environment and the trace amounts detected
under the wase oil tank do no warrent further site
assessment.
After reviewing the enclosed data if further information
or assistance is needed please feel free to' contact our
office.
