The tank was decontaminated on site using a high pressure steam cleaner and inerted with dry ice. Rinsate was disposed of at DeMenno/Kerdoon, Compton, California under hazardous waste manifest #96713003. The tank was removed to A & M Disposal & Recycling, Bakersfield, California. Soil was sampled under the direction of the Bakersfield City Fire Department. The samples were analyzed at Zalco Labs of Bakersfield for: TPH and total lead. A complete chemical analysis is enclosed. In addition to the lab results, copies of the manifest, chain of custody and the tank disposition tracking record are enclosed.
