An inspection was conducted on December 17, 1992. You are being notified because according to the Kern County Assessor's records you are the owner of the aforementioned property. During the inspect/on it was noted that the building was not occupied, and that there were seven (7) 55-gallon drums and several unlabeled containers in the rear of the yard. It was also determined that waste oil has been disposed of to the ground in the same area as the 55-gallon drums. It is a violation of the California Health and Safety Code, (Article 13, Chapter 6.5, Division 20, Section 25250.5), for waste oil to be disposed of in this manner. The waste oil must be collected by a licensed waste oil hauler for recycling and a copy of the receipt provided to this office which documents the proper disposal. A reinspection was conducted on January 17, 1991, noted a metal box that containing oily waste water at the southwest corner of the main building. The oily waste water must also be disposed of in a proper manner. As a result of this inspection and the violations noted, you will be billed at the rate of $65.00 per hour, as per Kern County Ordinance Code G-5541, Section 8.04.120 for oversight and abatement of these violations.
