"No Smoking" signs shall be posted and clearly visible (Section 8208, California Fire Code, 2001 Edition). Resale and exchange facilities must be under permit to verify compliance. All existing facilities will be checked and when compliance is confirmed, a permit will be issued. All new propane exchange systems must be permitted prior to installation. You will have 90 days (March 4, 2004) to comply with the procedures outlined. Once compliance has been confirmed, each exchange system will be issued a permit, which will be placed on the exchange system. Sites not conforming to current code, will be "red tagged" and must be taken out of service immediately. You should contact your Blue Rhino representative, Mr. Taylor Noland, or your local Amerigas representative. They are aware of current code requirements.
