This is to advise you that this department has reviewed the poject
results for the fuei seepage investigation you conducted at the 7-
Eleven, located at 2331 Chester Lane, Bakersfield, California.
Based upon the findings described in the report, this department
zs .satisfied that the assessment is complete and no significant soil
contamination resulting from fuel tank leakage exists at the site.

This is to'notify you that our 7-Eleven gaSoline facility at Chester
and N. A'Street i'n Bakersfield (2125/13932') will be closing. We have
"already pumped out the gasoline. 'We are now waiting on bids to re-do
the parking lot.
This decision was made because of low gasoline sales. A regodel would
not have been cost efficient.
Also, we are now considering the closure of gasoline at Flower Street'
and Haley in Bakersfield (2125/13934).' We will make that decision with-
in the next two months~
