EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN
PRIMARY ACTIVITY
Distributor of Paint and Paint related materials to the Collision Repair Industry.
EMERGENCY PRODEDURES
Activities and response actions personnel will take if a hazardous material release, fire, or
explosion happens.
In accordance with the OSHA standards, escape routes are posted throughout our facility.
A layout of this facility is clearly marked with the escape routes and following
instructions:
When the supervisor orders the evacuation of the building, everyone is to remain calm.
Walk to nearest exit and leave building immediately. After leaving building proceed to
Dave's Tacos across 26th Street and report to the supervisor. Do not leave area nor return
to building. Follow supervisor's instructions.
In the case of a spill- Any spills are cleaned up immediately and properly disposed of.
As necessary, the proper personal equipment is used during cleanup. All reasonable
efforts are taken to prevent toxic materials from reaching the sewer. If there is a
significant spill, which we are unable to deal with, the Fire Department is immediately
notified.
EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT
Emergency response equipment, such as: spill cleanup supplies, protective clothing, fire
extinguisher, and facility communication devices.
Fire Extinguishers
Safety glasses, goggles
Gloves, aprons, and other protective clothing
Masks, respirator
Absorbent solid
EVACUATION PLAN
Means to signal for the facility's evacuation.
Verbal Waming
EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE
Areas or systems that may be subject to earthquake damage. Required of hazardous
waste generators.
Glass Windows, shelving units
Mitigation, Prevention and Abatement Plan:
Material is stored in cool, indoor areas in sealed containers. No smoking is allowed. We
keep containers closed when not in use. Check containers regularly for leaks. Always
check MSDS for special instructions. Check with supervisor about eliminating old
chemicals that are not used. Empty waste cans are "drip dry empty" before disposal,
however larger quantities of hazardous waste are disposed of through a licensed waste
company. Keep storage chemical containers diked to prevent spills from reaching sewers.
Also regularly do a container inspection.
Sand would be used to contain an accidental spill.
Any spills are cleaned up immediately and properly disposed of. Zorbite/Multi-purpose
absorbent would be used to mop up material and put in safety dram As necessary, the
proper personal equipment is used during cleanup. All reasonable efforts are taken to
prevent toxic materials from reaching the sewer. If there is a significant spill that we are
unable to deal with, the Fire Department is immediately notified and employees are
evacuated from the building.
Agency Notification Procedures:
Call 911 - Notify local fire Department and Medical Emergency Response
Notify on site response personnel
1-800.852.7550- State Office of Emergency Services
661-326-3979 - City of Bakersfield Fire Department (Hazardous Materials Services
Section)
Submit a written follow-up spill notification to the State O.E.S. and Bakersfield Fire

EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN
PRIMARY ACTIVITY
Distributor of Paint and Paint related materials to the Collision Repair Industry.
EMERGENCY PRODEDURES
Activities and response actions personnel will take if a hazardous material release, fu'e, or
explosion happens.
Verbal Warning
Zorbite/Multi-purpose
absorbent would be used to mop up material and put in safety drum As necessary, the
proper personal equipment is used during cleanup.
1-800.852.7550 - State Office of Emergency Services
661-326-3979 - City of Bakersfield Fire Department (Hazardous Materials Services
Section)
Submit a written follow-up spill notification to the State O.E.S. and Bakersfield Fire
Authority.
Public Notification:
In case of a big problem we will notify our neighbors in the immediate area.

Employee Notification and Evacuation:
Verbal Warning.
After leaving building proceed
across 26th street at Dave's Tacos and report the supervisor. Do not leave area nor return
to building. Follow supervisor's instructions.

# 313-643-4600 for further instructions or 1-800-424-9300.
Zorbite/Multi-purpose
sorbent would be used to mop up material and put in safety drum As necessary, the
proper personal equipment is used during cleanup. All reasonable efforts are taken to
prevent toxic materials from reaching the sewer. If there is a significant spill which we
are unable to deal with, the Fire Department is immediately notified and employees are
evacuated from the building.
