CALIFORNIA 93301 (805) 326-3724 RAUL M. ROJAS, DIRECTOR · CITY ENGINEER December 23, 1997 Mr. Keith Welch IFG, Inc. P.O. Box 2106 Bakersfield, CA 93303 Re: Lab results from discharge sump located at 3732 Chester Ave Dear Mr. Welch: Based on the wastewater sample taken from your wastewater discharge sump, you are discharging within City local limits for all metals analyzed. The results are enclosed for you to keep on file for future reference. As discussed during our 12/19/97 telephone conversation, the limiting factor in regard to your sump appears to be the buildup of sediment. We recommend that you monitor the sludge level on a regular basis and have the sump pumped before the sediment layer reaches the effluent point. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions, please contact Lara Kimm at (805) 326-3249. Very truly yours, RAUL M.
