Dear Mr. Welch:
Based on the wastewater sample taken from your wastewater discharge sump, you are discharging
within City local limits for all metals analyzed. The results are enclosed for you to keep on file for
future reference.
As discussed during our 12/19/97 telephone conversation, the limiting factor in regard to your sump
appears to be the buildup of sediment. We recommend that you monitor the sludge level on a regular
basis and have the sump pumped before the sediment layer reaches the effluent point.
