Department Budget Presentation Meeting - 12:00 Noon

ACTION TAKEN
DEPARTMENT BUDGET PRESENTATIONS
a. General Government
Assistant City Manager Alan Christensen provided
an overview and computer presentation of the
Executive Budget for Fiscal Year 2000/2001, and
distributed wri[ten material; John Meroski,
provided an overview of the Convention and
Visitors Bureau Budget and distributed written
material.
b. Fire Department
Fire Chief Ron Fraze gave a computer
presentation, provided written material, and
introduced Deputy Chief Gary Hutton, Assistant
Chief Kirk Blair and Assistant Chief Robert Tobias
who continued the presentation.
Mayor Price recessed the meeting at 1:35 p.m.
and reconvened at 1:40 p.m.
c. Development Services
Development Services Director Jack Hardisty
gave a computer presentation and distributed
written material.
Salvaggio requested staff provide a summary
of the state population figures.

Maggard requested staff provide information
regarding the interface where the postal
service annex on northeast Auburn and how it
interfaces with the Fairfax/178 interchange.
d. Police Department
Assistant Chief Bill Rector gave a computer
presentation and distributed written material, and
introduced Captain Nail Mahan, Captain Dave
Jackson, and Captain Brad Wahl, who continued
the presentation.

a. Stephanie Campbell spoke requesting guidance
and assistance for Southeast Bakersfield efforts.

Motion by Carson to adjourn at 3:23 p.m.
