A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING IN CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH SANWA BANK, MAKING MINOR CHANGE TO
THE DRAFTTHEREOF, AND GIVING FIRSTREADINGTO
OP/)INANCE APPROVINGTHAT DEVELOP~ENTAGR~J~a~NT.
WHEREAS, a noticed public hearing was held before this
Council on July 25, 1990, on the matter of Council approval of a
development agreement with Sanwa Bank, as Trustee for State Farm
Insurance, applicable to development of approximately 60 acres of
property located at the northeast corner of Camino Media and Old
River Road in the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said hearing, the Council
desired to express its approval of said development agreement,
though formal approval must await adoption of the ordinance
approving that agreement two weeks hence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the above-referenced development agreement be
approved in concept, with the change of "Planning Director" to
"City Manager" at the top of page 15; and
2. That the ordinance approving said development
agreement be given first reading.
