MAIL TO, CITY CLERK'S OFFICE CITY HALL 1501 TRUXTUN AVENUE BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA 93301 RESOLUTION NO. 28-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF THE ALLEY BETWEEN BAKER AND KING STREETS IN BLOCK 58, SOUTH OF FREEWAY 178, IN THE THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, on Wednesday, February 7, 1990, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 1070 declaring its intention to order the vacation of the alley between Baker and King Streets in Block 58, south of Freeway 178, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California; and WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation, which said hearing was hel~ on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21, 1990, after notices were duly published and posted as required by law; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. That the vacation of the alley between Baker and King Streets in Block 58, south of Freeway 178, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more particu- larly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, is unnecessary for ~resent or prospective street or ease- ment purposes. 2. That the vacation of the alley between Baker and King Streets in Block 58, south of Freeway 178, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State o~ California, be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes. Reference to said Resolution of Intention No. 1070 is hereby made for further particulars. 3. That the Czty Clerk shall certify to the ~assage of this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, atteste~ by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California. .......... 000 .......... 6410 1746 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on MAR ~ 1 1990 , by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: EDWARDS, DeMOND, SMITH.
