A response to that application has not been re- ceived to date. Enclosed is another, ap~.lication for temporary closure. The City of Bakersfield, Fire Pre- vention Bureau, is agreeable to a one-year temporary closure of these tanks. By submittal of this application, ARCO requests approv- al for temporary closure for a period not to exceed one year. These tanks once stored gasoline,, diesel and solvent. They have been empty since 1984 as a result of our office relocation. If the property on which the tanks are located has not changed ownership, within one year, ARCO intends to permanently abandon the tanks.
