A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DEDICATING ADDITIONAL RIGHT-OF-WAY
FOR WHITE LANE (ADJACENT TO THE AIRPARK
PROPERTY) BETWEEN UNION AVENUE AND COTTONWOOD
ROAD WITHIN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, various land owners have granted real property
located in the north half of Section 17, Township 30 South, Range
28 East, M.D.B.&M., City of Bakersfield, Kern County, California,
to the City of Bakersfield by deeds recorded in Book 5994, page
2351; Book 6001, page 2281; Book 6215, page 2281 and Book 6300,
page 2297 of Official Records in the Office of the Kern County
Recorder; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield proposes to use a portion
of the property as public street right-of-way providing for future
widening of White Lane to City standard width.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the City of Bakersfield hereby dedicates the
real property described in Exhibit "A" as a public street.
2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

Map No. 1 of Lands of J.B. HAGGIN" filed biay 3, 1889 in the office of the Kern
County Recorder; said parcels are described as follows:
Parce I 1
Commencing at a point on the South line of said lot 8, being North 89°55'06"
West, 504.97 feet from the Southeast corner thereof;
THENCE North 00°06'52" East, 30.00 feet to a point on the North right of way
line of White Lane also being the Southwest corner of that land granted to the
City of Bakersfield by Gr~nt Deed Recorded May 7, 1987 in Book 6001, Page 2281,
Official records in the office of the Kern County Recorder and the POINT OF
BEGINNING;
THEbEE continuing North 00006'52' East, 25.00 feet;
THENCE South 89055'06' East, 504.99 feet to a point on the East line of said Lot
8;
THENCE South 00~07'54" West, along said East line, 25.00 feet to a point on the
North right of way line of White Lane;
THENCE North 89~55'06" West along said North line, 504.98 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING;

Commencing at a point on the South line of said lot 8 intersecting the West line
of the East 764.00 feet of said lot;

THENCE Northerly at right angles to said south line, 30.00 feet to a point on
the north right of way line of White Lane and the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing north at right angles with the South line of said lot 8, a
