A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ACCEPTING THE 1989 AFFIRMATIVE
ACTION PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield is committed to Equal
Opportunity for all individuals; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield is committed to insuring
that no applicant or employee is discriminated against because
of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield intends to document its
practices relative to Affirmative Action, and Equal Employment
Opportunity; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield's Affirmative Action
Plan will be revised on an annual basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
The Council of the City of Bakersfield hereby accepts
1989 Affirmative Action Plan prepared by the Personnel
Division of the City of Bakersfield.
