A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 4 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 10-89 ADOPTED ON JANUARY 18, 1989,
SETTING SALARIES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE MANAGEMENT
UNIT.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 10-89 was adopted on January
18, 1989, setting salaries and related benefits for officers and
employees of the management unit; and
WHERY_~S, since that date, two management positions have
been eliminated and others have been created; and
WHEREAS, Section 4 of Resolution No. 10-89 sets monthly
vehicle reimbursement amounts for various positions; and
WHEREAS, some of the positions for which such
reimbursement has been set no longer exist, and others for which
reimbursement amounts should be set are not included in Section
4.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
Subsections A. and B. of Section 4 of Resolution No.
10-89 is hereby amended as follows:
A. Department heads and the City Attorney, who are not
furnished an official City car shall be reimbursed for automobile
use at the rate of THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($324.00)
per month. Such reimbursement shall commence on July 1, 1989,
for the Economic Development Director and the Finance Director
and shall commence on February 1, 1989, for the Planning
Director.
B. Those City officers not furnished an official City
car who shall be reimbursed at the rate of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00)
per month are the Assistant City Attorneys, Deputy City
Attorneys, Assistant Public Works Director, Assistant Auditorium
Manager, Assistant Finance Director, and Community Development
Coordinator. Commencing on October 1, 1989, the following
officers shall also be reimbursed at the rate of FIFTY DOLLARS
($50.00) per month: Assistant Planning Director, Assistant to the
City Manager, City Clerk, City Treasurer, Information Systems
Manager, Personnel Manager and Risk Manager.
