They were a "full service" environmental company that performed assessment and remediation. For a whale they were the CALEPA's local emergency response contractor. As such they were called to hazmat scene's to pick up and transport materials for disposal at appropriate facilities. It is unknown what, if any. hazardous materials are or were stored at the facility on Schirra Court. Your staff should be aware of this facility and the possibility that unsecured hazardous materials may be at the site. It is unknown what arrangements have been made pursuant to the bankruptcy/reorganization of the business pertaining to hazardous materials at the site. Your staSf may want to look into this.
