A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1989-90.
WHEREAS, Section 7901 of the California Government Code
provides that each year the governing body of each local jurisdic-
tion shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit at
a regularly scheduled meeting; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge for the
1989-90 fiscal year shall be commenced within 45 days of the
effective date of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield does hereby set the appropriations limit for fiscal
year 1989-90 as $61,810,514. Documentation used in the determi-
nation of the appropriations limit is available to the public at
the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on June 28, 1989 , by
