ALWAYS USE THE "BUDDY SYSTEM" TO CLEAN UP A CHEMICAL SPILL.
STEPS TO CLEAN-UP DRY SPILL
1. Put up "Caution Wet Floor" signs.
2. Put on rubber gloves and goggles.
3. Scoop or gently sweep up dry material and place into double-bagged plastic trash bag.
4, Wet mop area with mild detergent and water,
5. ,Dispose of bagged material in trash after obtaining permission from MOD.
6. Dump wash water down the drain, Flush with plenty of water.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT MIX DRY AND WET SPILL ITEMS.

REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR CHEMICAL SPILLS/PRODUCT DISPOSAL
HOW TO RETRIEVE FORMS THROUGH T-MAIL
· At the overview menu select (B) Bulletin Boards, enter.
· Tab down to FORMS-STORES and select (L) Letter, enter.
· Tab down to either FORM: SPILLED MATERIAL (for chemical spills) or FORM:ENVIRONMENTALLY
SENSITIVE (for chemical products requiring disposal) and select (U) Useform, enter.
· Fill out form in detail.
· Press F8 to get the bottom half of the form.
· Print a copy of the completed form and attach it to the container containing the spill/product.
· Press F4 to mail (it will automatically mail to Jim Bosch and Mark Anderson at Target Headquarters).
· You will get a message that says it was sent to two (2) destinations.
RESPONSE
· The store sending the original T-Mail form will receive a response through T-Mail. The response will
include instructions regarding disposal of the product or chemical spill material.
