We assume the subject tank will be removed from the City's
records since it no longer exists, and thereby should not
be permitted and assessed a fee.

On May 19,1995" CALPI,Inc. removed one 550 gallon waste oil tank
from White Lane' Vi.llage a.t 4800 White Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93309,.
The· tanks were" decontaminated on site using a high pressure steam
cl eaner and inerted with dry ice. Rinsate. was disposed of, ~.t._,.,_,,_
Gibson, Environment-al in Bakersfield, California under hazardous
waste manifest #~9148279T. The tank was removed to
Golden. Stat~ Metals.
Soil was sampled, under the: direction of the- Bakersfie'ld' City Fire
Dep'artment. The, sampl es' were- analyzed at BC Labs' of Bakersfield
for oi.1 &, grease, TOX' &; ,read'. A complete' chemical analysis is
enclosed.
In addition, to. the lab resu1 ts, copies of" the· mani.fest, chain of
custody. and the tank disposition tracking record are enclosed.

Divisiorl and appropriate clean up contrac:tors.

MONITORING PLAN - UNDERGROUND WASTE OIL TANK
1. The tank shall be monitored in a once per week cycle. (Each cycle
to consist of one test before the weekend and one test upon
return after the weekend.)
2. A standard wooden waste oil tank measuring stick is used to
perform the monitoring.
3. Located at 1300 Beale Ave. West of the office building,

4. Joe Rueda, Service Manager, is responsible for performing the
monitoring and maintaining the equipment.
