SECTION 11.1: DISCOVERY AND NOTIFICATIONS
A. LEAK DETECTION AND MONITORING PROCEDURES:
The various chemical containers are checked and records maintained
via monthly inspections. Annual monitoring reports are completed
by the proper hired agencies.
B. EMPLOYEE AND AGENCY NOTIFICATION:
When required, the employees will be notified via public address
system / verbal command to evacuate the facility and to assemble
at the entrance.
C. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE MANAGEMENT:
Report spill as required. Immediate notification to the County
Environmental Health Department, and local Fire Department/HazMat
Response. Shut off sources of ignition. Employees, who are trained
annually on spill response procedures, will immediately begin
emergency response procedures for spill containment using spill
absorbent material. The contaminated absorbent material is
disposed of per hazardous waste regulations.
D. EMERGENCY MEDICAL PLAN:
When an incident occurs, notify the safety manager Mike Alexander/
Jon Jackson. Assess the injury and determine the severity. If
necessary notify certified CPR employees. If injury is treatable
at the facility, treat by using the facility's First Aid supplies.
For serious injury call 911 or transport to local hospital or to
our medical facility, Valley Industrial Medical.

SECTION 11.2: RELEASE RESPONSE PLAN
A. HAZARD ASSESSMENT AND PREVENTION MEASURES:
Prevention begins with employee training in Hazard Communication
Program, Respiratory Program, and Illness anà Injury Prevention
Program. Hazardous materials are stored in appropriate containers
at suitable locations. Absorbents and fire extinguishers are
nearby if needed. Shop is cleaned on periodic basis.
B. RELEASE CONTAINMENT AND/OR MITIGATION:
Spill absorbent materials are available in the shop area.
Hazardous waste tank, such as waste oil, are provided with
secondary containment. Spills of hazardous material are promptly
diked and the spill absorbed with suitable absorbent. The
absorbent is later disposed per hazardous waste regulations.
C. CLEAN-UP AND RECOVERY PROCEDURES:
Dealership employees have been trained to notify management
immediately of any spill unless the need is imminent. The
management will contact the local emergency response agency
i.e., local fire department. Employees trained in spill response
procedures will immediately begin emergency response procedures
for spill containment. Personal protective equipment will be ~_,
used appropriately.
