A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF
PORTIONS OF THE PUBLIC [JTILITY EASEMENTS
LOCATED WITHIN LOTS 51, 53 AND 55 OF
TRACT 4469~ IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of December, 1982, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the
"Public Streets~ Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law,"
being Sections 8300 to 8363, inclusive, of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its
Resolution of Intention No. 962 declaring its intention to order
the vacation of a public service easement, also referred to
herein as a public utilities easement, situated within Lots 51,
53 and 55 of Tract 4469, in the
Kern, State of California~ and
WHEREAS, said Council

did fix a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation, which said Inearing was held on the 12th day of January,
1983, after notices were duly posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1o Tbat said public service easement, also referred
to herein as a public utilities easement, described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, is unnecessary for
present or prospective public use.
2. That said public service easement be and the same
is hereby vacated and abandoned for public service easement pur-
lposes, subject to and in conformity with the reservation of the
easement contained in and contemplated by said Resolution of
Intention No. 962. ~eference to said Resolution of Intention is
hereby made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City,. to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of January, 1983, by
the following vote:
