A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD SETTING FEES FOR ALA~4 SYSTEM PERMIT
APPLICATIONS, REAPPLICATIONS, RENEWALS OR TRANSFERS
AND SETTING FALSE ALARM SERVICE FEES.
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1982, the Council of the City
of Bakersfield passed and adopted Ordinance No. 2793, New Series,
amending Chapter 5.08 of tlhe Bakersfield Municipal Code entitled
"Alarm Systems";
WHEREAS, said ordinance provides for the collection of
fees for alarm system permit applications, alarm system permit
reapplications, alarm system permit renewals and alarm system
permit transfers;
WHEREAS, said ordinance also provides for the collection
of service fees for false alarms; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance further provides that the
amount of the aforeraentioned fees shall be determined and approved
by resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FOUND AND RESOLVED by the Council
of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The above recitals and findings, incorporated
herein, are true and correct.
2. There shall be no fee for application for an
alarm system permit until January 12, 1984, at which time the
necessity for a fee will be evaluated.
3. The fee for each reapplication for an alarm system
permit is hereby determined, approved and imposed in the amount
of $50.00.
4. There shall be no fee for renewal or transfer of
an alarm system permit until January 12, 1984, at which time the
necessity for a fee will be evaulated.
5. The service fee assessed pursuant to Chapter 5.08
of the Bakersfield Municipal Code for false alarms wherein a
response by the Police Department of the City of Bakersfield is
solicited is hereby determined, approved and imposed in the
amount of $40.00.
6. The service fee assessed pursuant to Chapter 5.08
of the Bakersfield Municipal Code for false alarms wherein a
response by the Fire Department of the City of Bakersfield is
solicited is hereby d[etermined~ approved and imposed in the
amount of $125.00.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of January , 1~__3,
