WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield adopted a resolution for Annexation No. 410 on July 19, 2000, ordering the territory annexed to the City &Bakersfield; and WHEREAS, the territory ordered to be annexed to the City of Bakersfield is required to be within a City Council Ward Boundary; and WP-_EREAS, the Council recently completed annexation of the territory to the City of Bakers field, the exterior boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A" for ANNEXATION NO. 410 attached hereto and incorporated as though fully set forth herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakers~eld as follows: Section 1. All of the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be true and correct. Section 2. Annexation No. 410 shall be included in Ward 4. Section 3. Section 1.12.040 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended to add the legal description for the Fourth Ward boundary as set forth in Exhibit "C" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. Sectinn 4.
