A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD TO GIVE THE SUBDIVIDER OF PARCEL
MAP 7563 NOTICE TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK
UNDER IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT 85-195.
WHEREAS, Improvement Agreement 85-195 for Parcel Map 7563
between the City of Bakersfield and Mark D. and Barbara J. Farnum
was executed on July 25, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Agreement required all
improvements to be completed before October 16, 1986; and
WHEREAS, 'she improvements required for Parcel 1 have not
been completed as of this date; and
WHEREAS, the direct cost of completing the improvements
on Parcel 1 is estimated to be $14,641.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the Subdivider of and surety for Parcel
Map 7563 shall be given fourteen (14) days written notice to pro-
ceed with the completion of the improvements on Parcel 1 as
required by Improvement Agreement 85-195. Should the Subdivider
fail to complete the aforementioned improvements within 60 days of
the written notice, the City of Bakersfield shall undertake and
complete the work of improvement by independent contract or by
City forces and proceed against the Subdivider and surety to
recover all costs, direct and indirect.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on August 31, 1988 , by
