A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD REAFFIRMING COMMITMENT OF THE
COUNCIL TO WORK WITH THE KERN COUNTY BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE
IN OUR COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, a disagreement has arisen between this Council
and the Kern County Board of Supervisors regarding the landfill
gate fee issue; and
WHEREAS, the Council does not want such disagreement to
negatively reflect ,~pon the Council's continuing co~nitment to
work with the Board of Supervisors on matters impacting the metro-
politan area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
The Council of the City of Bakersfield reaffirms its
mitment to work with Kern County and the Board of Supervisors
improve the quality of life in our community.
