A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1988-1989.
WHEREAs, Section 7910 of the Government Code provides
that each year the governing body of each local jurisdiction
shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit at a
regularly scheduled meeting; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge to this action
shall be commenced within 45 days of the effective date of this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, documentation used in the determination of the
appropriations limit has been available to the public at the City
Manager's Office, City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield,
California, for fifteen days prior to the date of Council adoption
cf this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Bakersfield does hereby set the appropriations limit for
fiscal year 1988-89 as $57,296,975.00.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on June 22, 1988 , by
