A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING CONFLICT OF INTEREST
CODES FOR THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMIS-
SION, THE PUBLIC FACILITIES CORPORATION AND
THE SOUTHEAST BAKERSFIELD WASTEWATER TREATMENT
FACILITIES CONSOLIDATION CORPORATION, AND
AMENDING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES OF THE
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, BOARD OF
BUILDING APPEALS, CENTRAL DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY, CITIZENS AUDITORIUM COMMITTEE, CITY
ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE, CIVIC
AUDITORIUM DEPARTMENT, COMMUNITY SERVICES

CITIZEN'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE, FIRE DEPARTMENT,
POLICE DEPARTMENT AND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission of the City
of Bakersfield, the Public Facilities Corporation and the Southeast
Bakersfield Wastewater Treatment Facilities Consolidation Corpor-
ation have produced new Conflict of Interest Codes and held a duly
noticed public hearing on May 27, 1988 in relation to those codes;
and
WHEREAS, the following departments, committees, boards,
agencies and commissions have presented amended Conflict of
Interest Codes for the approval of the Council:
Administrative Services Department
Board of Building Appeals
Central District Development Agency
Citizens Auditorium Committee
City Attorney's Office
City Manager's Office
Civic Auditorium Department
Community Services Department
Development Services Department
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Community
Center Citizen's Advisory Committee
Fire Department
Police ]Department
Public Works Department;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendments have been
considered by said departments, committees, boards,
commissions; and
reviewed and
agencies and
WHEREAS, this Council is the Code reviewing body for said
departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council. of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That the proposed new Conflict of Interest Codes,
more particularly described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are
approw~d and adopted;
That the proposed amendments to the Conflict
of Interest Codes, more particularly described
in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made a part
hereof, are approved and adopted;
That all persons in designated positions as
specified in Exhibits "A" and "B" of the Conflict
of Interest Codes are hereby instructed to file
statements of economic interest according to the
procedure set forth in Subsection (b) of Paragraph
4 of Section 18730 of Title 2 of Division 6 of the
California Administrative Code.
