A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING "OFFICIAL CARS ONLY"
PARKING DESIGNATIONS.
WHEREAS, the "Official Cars Only" designation has not
previously been defined; and
WHEREAS, there is no means of enforcement of such
"Official Cars Only" designated parking.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that it is unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to stop, stand or park any vehicle on either Truxtun
Avenue or Eye Street in any area designated "OFFICIAL CARS ONLY"
by the traffic authority by posted sign except for those vehicles
with government exempt plates and those with a displayed permit.
Such permits may be granted by the Chief of Police to City
Department heads, the Mayor and members of the City Council, City
boards and City commissions.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
