A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF THE
60-FOOT WIDE FUTURE STREET DEDICATION IN
PORTIONS OF LOTS 26 AND 27 OF TRACT NO. 1518
IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on April 27, 1988, the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public Streets,
Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being Chapter 3 of
Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No.
1043 declaring its intention to order the vacation of the 60-foot
wide future street dedication in portions of Lots 26 and 27 of
Tract No. 1518 in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State
of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 1988, after
notices were duly published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That tlne vacation of the 60-foot wide future street
dedication in portions of Lots 26 and 27 of Tract No. 1518 in the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more
particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof, is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes.
2. That the vacation of the 60-foot wide future street
dedication in portions of Lots 26 and 27 of Tract No. 1518 in the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, be and
the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and in conformity with the following
condition:
that the existing 10-foot wide Public
Utility Easement within the area vacated
be reserved, including all easement rights
dedicated by Tract No. 1518.
Reference to said Resolution of Intention No. 1043 is hereby made
for further particulars.

3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on May 18, 1958 , by

DEDICATION IN PORTIONS OF LOTS 26 AND 27 OF TRACT NO 1515
EXHIBIT "A"
A strip of land consisting of those portions lots 26 and 27
lying between the lines designated as "Future Street Lines"
and bounded on the North by the South line of To~msley Avenue~
and on the South, the South line of Tract No. 1518 as said
lots, street and boundary lines are shown on map of Tract No.
1518 recorded. October 19, 1949 in book 7 of maps, page 45 in
the office of the Kern County Recorder.
RESERVING all of that existing 10 ft. wide public utilities
easement extending tl~ough the above described land and all
easement rights as dedicated by said Tract No. 1518.
