A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD DETERMINING TO MAKE A
CONTRIBUTION TO ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 87-3
WHEREAS, this City Council has adopted Resolution No. 1036
declaring its intention to form Assessment District No. 87-3;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 25-88, a hearing was
called and held on the 30th day of March, 1988; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10205 of the California
Streets and Highways Code, the City may make a cash
contribution to an assessment district.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. This City Council finds and determines that
it is in the best interests of the City that the City make a
cash contribution to Assessment District No. 87-3 in the amount
of $330,500.00 (Three Hundred Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars)
SECTION 2. The amount contributed by the City shall be
deposited in the Assessment District No. 87-3 Improvement Bond
Fund to be applied solely for the benefit of properties in
Zones 2 through 5 and 7.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield at a regular meeting held on March 30, 1988.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on March 30, 1988, by the following vote:
