HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 39-88RESOLUTION NO. 39-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING RESOLUTION 11-88 CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE BUILDING DIRECTOR REGARDING ASSESSMENTS OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD FOR DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS. WHEREAS, ~:ne Council after public hearing on February 17, 1988, adopted its Resolution No. 11-88, confirming the Report of the Building Director regarding assessments of certain properties in the City of Bakersfield for demolition of dangerous buildings, with the exception of two such assessments which were referred to the Budget and Finance Committee; and WHEREAS, the Budget and Finance Committee has reported to this Council that the concerns of the owners of the two parcels, assessments for which were deleted from Resolution No. 11-88, have been satisfactorily addressed, and the assessments for such par- cels have been re-added to Exhibit "A" attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield that Resolution No. 11-88 is hereby amended by revision of Exhibit "A" thereto in accordance with Exhibit "A" attached hereto, that the Report on Assessment for Demolition of Dangerous Buildings of C. A. Bidwell, Building Director, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", including the assessments therein set forth, is hereby confirmed. .......... 000 ..........
