AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 14.12.385
TO THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO DEDICATING A SOURCE OF
REVENUE FOR STATE REVOLVING FUNDS
LOAN
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 14.12.385 is added to the Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall read as
follows:
14.12.385 Dedicating Revenue Source.
The City Council hereby dedicates sewer user charges to the repayment of any and
all State Revolving Fund Loans to the City of Bakersfield. This dedicated source of
revenue shall remain in effect until such a loan (or loans) is fully discharged unless
modification or change of such dedication is approved in writing by the State Water
Resource Control Board,
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the provisions of the Bakersfield
Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after the date of its
passage. Said Ordinance shall be automatically repealed upon the repayment of any and
all State Revolving Fund Loans.
