A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD FIXING THE DATES OF MEETINGS
AND WORKSHOPS OF THE COUNCIL FOR THE MONTHS
OF FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL, MAY, JUNE, JULY,
AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER,
DECEMBER, 1988, AND JANUARY 1989.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.04.010 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Council may, from time to
time, by resolution change the meetings to be held during any
specified period of time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the Budget Hearings will be held on
June 13 and 14, 1988, and the regular Council meetings for the
months of February, March, April, May, June, July, August,
September, October, November, December, 1988, and January 1989,
shall be at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, as follows:

August 31, 1988
March 2, 1988
March 16, 1988 September 14, 1988
March 30, 1988 September 28, 1988
April 13, 1988 October 12, 1988

July 6, 1988 January 4, 1989
July 20, 1988 January 18, 1989
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield that Council meetings for the purpose of workshop
sessions commencing at 5:15 P.M. in the Basement of City Hall
Annex, shall be as follows:
February 17, 1988 August 17, 1988
March 16, 1988 September 28, 1988
April 27, 1988 October 26, 1988
May 25, 1988 November 30, 1988
June 22, 1988 December 14, 1988
July 20, 1988
January 18, 1989

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was

+ The last week in May and the first two weeks in June is the time when the Budget and
Finance Committee (or the full Council, if they so choose) would review the proposed
budget with staff prior to the Budget Hearings On June 13 and 14. Councilmembers will
want to set aside considerable time on their personal calendars during that phase of
the budget review process.
