RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
DETERMINING THAT AN IMPELLER FOR A SEWAGE PUMP CAN BE
REASONABLY OBTAINED FROM ONLY ONE VENDOR, FLO-SYSTEMS,
INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO DISPENSE
WITH BIDDING THEREFOR, NOT TO EXCEED $8,000.00.
WHEREAS, the Finance Director has determined, and has
recommended that this Council find, that an impeller for a sewage
pump for the Public Works Department can be reasonably obtained
from only one vendor and has recommended that this Council author-
ize dispensing with bidding therefor in accordance with Section
3.20.060 B. of the Bakersfield Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
The Council hereby finds that an impleller for the
Public Works Department can be obtained from only one vendor,
because it is a replacement part that must be compatible with
existing equipment to wit: Flo-Systems, Inc. and authorizes the
Finance Director to dispense with bidding therefor and to negotiate
the purchase of same from such vendor.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on November ZB, 1~87 , by
the following vote:
