WEEREAS, on September 30, 1987, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of tne "Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law," being Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State c~ California, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 1033 declaring its intention to order the vacation of "M" Street and 16~h Street adjacent to Blocks 310 and 329, the alley in Block 310 and the Public utility Easement in Block 329, in the City of Bakersfield, CounTy of Kern, State of California; and WBEREAS, said Council did fix a time an~ place for hearing all persons interssued in or objecting to said p ~posed vacation, which said hearing was held on November 4, 1987, after notices were duly published and posted as required by law; and WiHEREAS. this Council after duly considering the matter, does hereby find and resolve as fcl!ows: 6231 rACL 0966 A. That "M" Street and 16th Street adjacent to Blocks 310 and 329, the alley in Block 3i0 and the Public utility Easem=,=t in Block 329, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, is unnecessary for present or pro- spective public street purposes. .B. That "M" Street and 16th Street adjacent to Blocks 310 and 329, nne alley in Block 310 and the Public utility Easement in Block 329, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and aban- doned for public street purposes, subject to and in conformity with the following conditions, reservations and exceptions: Easements for public utilities, sewers, storm drains or any other remaining or re]oc~+ed public facility within thexarea to be vacated are reserved, the precise location and descrip- nion of which shall be appended to this resolu- tion as Exhibit "B" prior to recordation.
