RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
DETERMINING THAT AN EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT WORK STATION
CAN BE REASONABLY OBTAINED FROM ONLY ONE VENDOR AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO DISPENSE WITH
BIDDING THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the Finance Director has determined, and has
recommended that this Council find, that an equipment management work
station for the Public Works Department can be reasonably obtained
from only one vendor and has recommended that this Council author-
ize dispensing with bidding therefor in accordance with Section
3.20.060 B. of the Bakersfield Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
The Council hereby finds that an equipment management
work station for the Public Works Department can be obtained from only
one vendor because all equipment and software must be fully
compatible to wit: Integrated Systems Group and authorizes the
Finance Director to dispense with bidding therefor and to negotiate
the purchase of same from such vendor.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on Septe~tber 23, 1987 , by
